Scenery = Good

Mountainburg (Out and back) - This stretch of road was once inaccessible to cyclists due to the heavy traffic travelling U.S. 71 between Fayetteville and Fort Smith. But with the opening of the highly touted Interstate 540, the amount of traffic has been reduced drastically to only local traffic now. Scenery is good. Terrain is relatively flat, except for the climb up to Artist's Point from Winslow going down and Mountainburg coming back.

From FBC, travel south on U.S 71 business towards West Fork, Winslow, and Mountainburg. When you get to Mountainburg, turn around and come up the big hill and head home.
